1st Quarter--Mr Viles.

Section One—Exams (30% of quarter grade)

There will be three exams this quarter. They will cover:

• Exam 1—Constitution--Washington-Jefferson
  

• Exam 2---Present--1988
  

Section Two—Projects (40% of quarter grade)

Projects will cover the Local Biography Project, as well as other research-based presentations.

Section Three—Book Portfolio (30% of quarter grade)

This is a continuing assignment each quarter. Students will read and compose a blog essay around a non-fiction book, with a special emphasis on the historical theme and context of the book.
